2007
Field Trip
In 2007, David Clarke of Dillon
Consulting and Don Livingstone of Teal Solutions took us on a
tour of Pacific Place in False Creek, the site where
Vancouver held the 1986 World Expo. The long and varied industrial
history of this area has contributed to a number of challenging
pollution issues which the city has tried to remedy over the years.
Many of the solutions to these persistent environmental problems have
been hidden in plain sight, while others have been decided on as a
result of a comprehensive risk management approach.
