The PRSSS 2017 Soil ID Field Course took place in Southern Vancouver Island – Saanich Peninsula from May 23 – 25, 2017.

Learning Objectives:
Upon completing this course, participants will know how to:
- texture a soil
- dig a soil pit for description and interpretation purposes
- differentiate and describe horizons
- interpret soils and landscapes for possible land uses using a basic approach
Fees:
The registration fee is $120 for students and $160 for professionals. Registrants also need to be members of PRSSS (membership fees are $10 for students and $20 for professionals).
