The Pacific Regional Society of Soil Science presents the 2019 Spring Workshop and AGM

Frontiers in Soil Science

The 2019 workshop featured expert soil scientists from around the province discussing cutting edge soil science technologies!

Student Poster Competition

The PRSSS had its annual Poster Competition for the students during the  Spring Workshop, with cash prizes, winners were:

1st – Trish Hanuszak, “Effects of a 4-Year Grassland Set-aside on Soil Aggregate Stability”

2nd – Marieta Marin Bruzos, “Chitinases gene abundance in cherry orchards under different land management”

3rd – Vasilis Kokkoris, “Are fungal inoculants effective in the field?”
